Minutes After Thrashing 23YO Star, Shaquille O’Neal Leans on $1,783,000 Worth Project to Add Fire to Mockery
LeBron James and Stephen Curry faced each other again at the playoffs last night after crossing swords in the 2018 NBA Finals. Los Angeles Lakers triumphed over the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the series at Chase Center. The Dubs may have lost but there was a chance for them to take the game to overtime. However, a certain Warriors youngster couldn’t take advantage of this opportunity as he missed the potential game-tying shot.
The 23-year-old Warriors star was subjected to a lot of trolling online. NBA legend and Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal initially criticized him and ultimately joined the internet to troll him using a particular scene from a $1.7 million movie.

Down three points in the waning seconds of Game 1, the 2022 NBA champion Jordan Poole made an uncontested attempt from deep. He tried to drain a 30 feet three-pointer in the hope of tying the game last night. However, he was unsuccessful, and Dennis Schroder retrieved the ball and didn’t let anybody take it until a timeout was called. The Warriors could have had a different outcome if Poole had drained the three.

Shaq is a social media icon and often shares different kinds of clips and videos that he likes. This time, the Big Diesel used a clip to troll Jordan Poole. The four-time NBA champion turned to his Instragram story and shared a clip of the 2004 movie, Along Came Polly. The clip featured the actors, Ben Stiller and Philip Seymour Hoffman playing a pickup game against two people. However, the interesting thing was Hoffman missed every shot while the opponents kept on scoring. This clip was one of the videos originally shared by Overtime on their Instagram page to take a dig at the 23-year-old. Take a look!

Poole scored 21 points, shooting a team-high 46.1%, including six 3-pointers, and dished out six assists. However, the young guard’s performance has been subpar this postseason.

In the latest episode of Inside the NBA, the crew, as usual, commented on the highlights from the playoffs. While doing so for the Lakers vs Warriors game, they didn’t shy away from expressing their feelings with regard to Poole’s ill-advised shot.
Barkley said, “I don’t like that shot right there,” and others also concurred with his statement. They went on to say he could’ve done something else at that point.
