Frederick Thomas, known by his stage name Fred Da Godson, was one of the premier hip-hop artists in the industry whose music connected with many in different ways. He was able to make an impact on a wide fanbase across the country with his strong and forceful lyrics. However, unfortunately, the music world couldn’t enjoy his presence for a long time as he passed away in 2020. Recently, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and fans on the Internet gave flowers to the late artist almost three years after his demise. Many fans also gathered on social media to discuss how Thomas’ music impacted them in their personal lives.
Thomas passed away at the age of 35 on April 23, 2020, after being diagnosed with Covid-19. However, he remains eternal among fans with his music.

Shaquille O’Neal gives his flowers to Frederick Thomas
There are only a few athletes in the hoops universe, who are as active as Shaq in the virtual world. The four-time champion frequently updates his fanbase with the things he likes. Recently, the Big Diesel shared a lot of relevant things on his Instagram stories. In one of those slides, Shaq shared a post where Thomas could be seen freestyling in a recording studio. The caption of the video read, “R.I.P Fred Da Godson”.

Thomas was one of the coolest rappers in the Bronx, New York. He began freestyling in the early 2000s but rose to fame in the early 2010s with a pair of acclaimed releases. The late artist was noted in the hip-hop universe for his creative voice and humorous wordplay. His last mixtape, ‘Payback’ was released just a month ago prior to his death.
Fans pay tribute to Fred the Godson on social media
The post which Shaq shared on his stories, garnered a plethora of reactions from Internet users. They were seemingly overwhelmed by listening to the freestyling of the late artist and proceeded to express their emotions in the comment section. One fan commented, “Miss this King rest in power Godson”
