Is this a good deal for the Boston Celtics?

The Celtics have a good roster with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. The inclusion of Dennis Schroder is important for the franchise as it provides the defensive solidarity of the team. Thus, the Boston Celtics made a smart decision to bring Schroder.

During the last five seasons, he averaged 17.4 points and 5.3 assists per game. Those are pretty respectable figures. But, his key skillset is when it comes to perimeter defending. He is one of the best defenders in the league.
