Pitbull said that he draws parallels between his life and NASCAR. He said that his life has been flipping negatives into positives.

Pitbull sees NASCAR the same way as it started with nothing and had no respect. The sport has now become one of the most popular exhibitions in the US. Pitbull owns Trackhouse Racing in the NASCAR Cup series. He added that he loves the “underdog fighting spirit” of NASCAR and that is what drew him into it.

Stern asked Pitbull if he parties with Jordan since the two are team owners for the same event. Michael Jordan has been a NASCAR fan since childhood

The basketball Hall of Famer has shown interest in different sports over the years. Currently an avid golfer, Jordan also has a deep interest in racing and baseball. When it was announced that Jordan, along with his friend Hamlin are going to own a NASCAR team, the 6x NBA champion revealed his childhood stories related to NASCAR.

He said, “Growing up in North Carolina, my parents would take my brothers, sisters, and me to the races, and I’ve been a NASCAR fan my whole life.” So, when an opportunity presented itself, Jordan pounced on it to become only the second Black owner in NASCAR.
