After a first-round defeat to Denver Nuggets in the 2021 postseason, Trail Blazers went off the charts. And unsurprisingly the eyes were turned to their star player Damian Lillard. In an interview, Lillard replied to it by saying, “I have no comments about anything”. While he continues to be in Portland for this offseason, what comes next is yet to be discovered.

Famous sports journalist Amin Elhassan talked about Lillard’s response to trade-related queries. He believes that Trail Blazers should be worrying about the uncertainty of their key player. “He’s (Lillard) definitely towing that line of being as delicate as possible without committing… If you actually listen to what he’s saying is like, ‘I haven’t formally demanded it but don’t sit and think that everything’s great. He’s making it clear, I’m not happy but stopping from saying, get me out of here.”
