Portland Trail Blazers starter Damian Lillard is going through a fluctuating phase this trading summer. While bigwig changes have come to the table for the upcoming season, Lillard’s trade rumors were also in the headlines. However, Lillard’s approach to switching teams isn’t going his way.

After a first-round defeat to Denver Nuggets in the 2021 postseason, Trail Blazers went off the charts. And unsurprisingly the eyes were turned to their star player Damian Lillard. The 2012 Blazers draftee expressed unhappiness about staying with the team. Thus, trading him was seen as the feasible option.

Los Angeles Lakers, who have been quite busy in highlight trades, were also in Lillard’s trade options. But the Portland guard recently cleared the air around this news because he isn’t packing his bags for LA.

Many have questioned Damian Lillard about his future with the Portland Trail Blazers. However, the answer hasn’t been transparent for most of his fans. In an interview, Lillard replied to it by saying, “I have no comments about anything”. While he continues to be in Portland for this offseason, what comes next is yet to be discovered.

He’s making it clear, I’m not happy but stopping from saying, get me out of here.”

Blazers said goodbye to their veteran player Carmelo Anthony this summer. Anthony has signed with the Lakers squad. While his absence will prick the Blazers, they can’t afford to lose Dame as well. Lillard, who averaged 28.8 points in the 2020-21 season, is sailing with his feet in two boats. Do you think Portland Trail Blazers will find themselves in a dicey spot?
