

The Los Angeles Lakers had a disappointing season as they bowed out to the NBA finalists Phoenix Suns, in the playoffs. Notably, LeBron James got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs, for the first time in his career.
The Lakers’ front office is now trying to incorporate new players and staff to lead a title charge next season. Despite the franchise having James and Davis, several players in the team are simply past their best and the need for major changes are evident. One imminent change is the arrival of David Fizdale to become the assistant coach of the Lakers.
Erik Spoelstra and David Fizdale helped James to win his first NBA title at Miami and this benefits everyone involved with the franchise.

LeBron James reuniting with David Fizdale
The working relationship of Fizdale and James is important for the franchise as of right now. Former Grizzlies and Knicks head coach joins Frank Vogel as the franchise’s assistant coach.
Many teams had approached Fizdale including the Indiana Pacers with a massive contract. However, Fizdale jumped onto the Lakers organization because of the prospect of teaming up with Bron again. Los Angeles being a key destination proves to be an advantage as well.

For this reason, the reunion will bring in ample experience for the Lakers organization. Former assistant coach, Jason Kidd, joined the Dallas Mavericks as their new head coach. Despite that, the front office wasted no time in bringing in his replacement.
Fizdale demands excellence and hard work which can only help the organization. Man management is really important for a team to grow, and Fizdale fits the bill perfectly.

James aiming for a 5th NBA title
In the meantime, James remains determined to land his 5th NBA title. With Anthony Davis struggling with niggling injuries, the power forward hopes to regain his fitness heading into the next season.
Meanwhile, LeBron seems to be relaxed while enjoying coaching his son Bronny James for his games.

James staying fit will be key for the Lakers heading into next season. Despite Davis being so important for the Lakers, it is evident why people still regard James as the franchise player. In addition, the experience and the marketability factor behind him are incredible.
Likewise, the leadership qualities that James possesses are invaluable to the team. Moreover, youngsters on the roster can develop into potential world-beaters under his tutelage.

With the Los Angeles-based franchise struggling on the offensive side of the game, Fizdale’s expertise can help the team be a potent threat on the offense, as well as, to close out tight basketball games.
