NBA legend Dwayne Wade‘s wife Gabrielle Union has opened up about her struggles with self-esteem and body image in the past. However, she doesn’t want her four-year-old daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade, to go through the same trouble. The Bring It On star was recently seen developing the self-esteem of her daughter, by trading some positive and inspiring words.

Wade and Union welcomed their first child together when their daughter Kaavia was born in 2018. She can often be seen enjoying with her parents and many of her videos have gone viral over the years. However, her recent clip with her mother has melted fans’ hearts.

Gabrielle Union and Kaavia spread positivity

Union is an avid social media user and often shares posts related to her life and family. A couple of days back, she shared a minute-long video featuring herself and her daughter swapping positive affirmations, sitting in front of a bathroom mirror. As the clip went viral, the NBA legend’s wife re-shared the clip on her Twitter handle with a caption, “This lil ray of light just melts my( heart emoji).” 

The video starts with Union asking her daughter what she loves about her hair. Kaavia replied, “I love my beautiful hair” to which her mother said she loved her full lips. Subsequently, the little one said she loved her beautiful skin, while the 50-year-old said she loved her freckles. Thereafter, Kaavia said, “I love my eyes” while Union said, “I love my village.” 

Union further added that she is scared at times while the young one expressed she was worthy. The mother-daughter duo continued to exchange these kinds of beautiful words with each other. The video ends with both of them exclaiming, “I’m beautiful” with big smiles on their faces.
