The big day finally came around for the Brooklyn Nets. The return of their guard, Kyrie Irving happened against the Indiana Pacers. The former champion has been out the entire season due to the norms of the league and is finally suiting up for the first time in a long while. However, an NBA veteran decided to crash the party as he is taking over in Kyrie’s return.
With the health and safety protocols of the league, teams have resorted to ten-day signings. For the Pacers, they chose to bring back one of their former players. They signed Lance Stephenson on a 10-day contract from the G League. Prior to his return, Stephenson had been performing well in NBA’s G League.
Now, he is taking over Irving’s return by torching the Nets with a classic show.

Lance Stephenson crashes Kyrie Irving return
With the return of Irving, the Nets became a true offensive powerhouse. They have all the offensive power in the NBA and are set for dominance. However, league veteran Lance Stephenson has other plans. After being out for a few years, he took right into the big night for Brooklyn and is putting on a show for the Indiana fans.
Lance came into the game and was hot right away. He had the entire arena on their feet after he dropped 20 points in just the opening quarter of the game. He is the main reason the Pacers are enjoying a comfortable lead going into the fourth. Despite having such big offensive names in their lineup, the Nets have struggled to put points on board.

However, Stephenson has made it look easy all night. He is torching the Nets by putting up 28 points and 5 assists in just three quarters. Returning star Kyrie Irving has struggled to find his groove leaving Kevin Durant to take the pressure once again. Irving has only put up 12 points on his return so far but the Nets are looking to rally a fourth-quarter comeback.
