They can’t win games so they gotta try to win arguments instead

Can’t win games. So they’ll try to win arguments or having the fan kicked. All this talent just to be better slightly better than 2014 roster 😮💨 https://t.co/XQdsyVhU7v

Furthermore, some people justified the fact that the fans were right in arguing with the Lakers’ roster. They used the salary of the Lakers roster and ticket prices to prove what the fans did was right.

I’d be pissed off too if I was a Lakers fan, it’s insane how they played and been playing. 120 million plus for LJ, Westbrook and Davis and they’ve been losing like crazy makes no sense

Do you know how expensive #Lakers tickets are this season!?! I'd speak my mind if I were paying to watch this debacle too!
— guy_no_fawkes (@fawkes_no) February 28, 2022
This is ridiculous. No fans. No money. You play like shit, the fans have EVERY right to call you out on that performance. Getting to a point now where moves have to be made to set a tone. This franchise is in freefall

Evidently, the Lakers have been enduring a really bad season. With big money names on the roster, the world expected the ‘Purple and Gold’ to win it all this season. But that scenario seems highly unlikely now. Furthermore, LeBron James seems to be pulling his weight and carrying the team. However, the team continues its nosedive.

LeBron James and the Lakers This Season
As stated earlier, LeBron has been on an absolute tear this season. Despite the Lakers’ woes, the ‘King’ stands tall. Moreover, he ensures that he consistently delivers in every game. At present, LeBron averages 29 points, 6.3 assists, and 7.9 rebounds this season. In the loss against the Pelicans, LeBron scored nearly a little over a third of what his entire team put on the board. He finished the game with 32 points, 3 assists, and 6 rebounds.

However, the point where the team lost out in the game was their turnovers. In fact, LeBron and Westbrook together had more than half the total number of Laker turnovers. Furthermore, these Laker turnovers allowed the Pelicans to score 25 points. Additionally, they have also been a poor defensive team. They currently allow opponents to score 112.4 points per game against them. This has been the story of the Lakers this season. Their poor defense and turnovers have cost them so many games. Hopefully, if these two issues are addressed, the Lakers can salvage some wins this season.
