According to a recent report, they are trying to acquire one of the teammates of the Atlanta Hawks‘ cornerstone players?Trae Young. The Heat was eyeing many players but currently one of their top targets is reportedly the 25-year-old youngster of the Hawks, John Collins.

According to NBA insider Sean Deveney, the Heat discussed a deal with the Hawks that would get them Collins in exchange for their current players Caleb Martin, Duncan Robinson, and one protected first-round pick. However, he further added, “There is concern among some with the Heat that Collins and star big man Bam Adebayo would not be a great fit.”

Since his debut in 2017, Collins has played for the Hawks. Over the years, the 25-year-old became one of the instrumental players for them. Currently, the power forward is averaging around 13.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
