Beverley was recently acquired by the Lakers and can possibly be a good asset for them. His willingness to win was probably a big factor for the franchise which had a dismal record last year.

The point guard has had a very active off-season. The Minnesota Timberwolves traded him to the Utah Jazz to get big man Rudy Gobert. Can the LeBron James-led Lakers rise through the ashes like a phoenix?
LeBron James and Anthony Davis had a torrid last season. The hopes of any course of correction lie with LeBron James coming back with a fresh vigor, heading into his 20th season in the NBA. This was the second time in four years that the Lakers did not qualify for the playoffs.

Anthony Davis, too, certainly has to be available throughout the season for the Lakers to try and run it back like in 2020. With the addition of Beverley, Lakers fans will be hopeful that the franchise can see renewed success next season.
