No one can deny how important LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been to the Los Angeles Lakers. They were the main reasons why the purple and gold side won the 2020 NBA title. Playing with both would seemingly be an honor for any NBA player. However new Lakers recruit Patrick Beverley thinks differently. According to him, Davis and James should be honored to play with him. Beverley, known for his controversies, has raised the heat again with this opinion of his.
He said, “They’re gonna be playing with me. I made the playoffs last year, they didn’t.” This might have been a shot at the Lakers missing out on the playoffs, despite the two being available last season.
