NBA legend and Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal has been linked with many popular women over the years, from Laticia Rolle to Nicole Alexander. Speaking of Shaq’s dating life, the four-time NBA champion recently disclosed a peculiar restriction that he imposed on his former girlfriends back in the day. After being separated from his ex-wife Shaunie Henderson for almost 13 years, this recent revelation from the Los Angeles Lakers legend will shock fans.

Shaquille O’Neal imposed a peculiar rule on his former girlfriends

Shaq made an appearance on It’s Non-Negotiable Podcast last month and talked about a plethora of interesting things. One of the co-hosts, Ernestine Morrison, asked him what the term, ‘non-negotiable’ meant to him. The Big Diesel responded, “When I was younger everything was non-negotiable but I’m older now…and I’m fair. When I was younger I was very unfair – so it depends on the circumstance.”

“But when you deal with three super strong independent Black women, you have to loosen up the reins…Back in the day, it was this no makeup, no this, no that,” Shaq added.

Morrison was a bit surprised by the reply and therefore asked, “No makeup for the women you dated?”?The 15x All-Star subsequently opened up about what appeared to be a restriction that he imposed on his former girlfriends.

He said, “If I pick you, it means you’re gorgeous and there’s no such word as gorgeouser or gorgeousist.” In response to his statements, another co-host asked Shaq whether he only picked women who didn’t have any makeup on. Shaq said, “Yeah”, which left everyone amused. Shaq’s statements implied that he always dated naturally beautiful women, who didn’t apply makeup on their faces.

Shaq and Shaunie started dating each other in 1996, shortly after the Big Diesel signed with the Lakers. They spent 14 years together and parted ways in 2010. Since then, the four-time NBA champion chose to remain single. On the other hand, Shaunie decided to start her life in a new way.
