Golden State Warriors suffered a heavy blow when their talisman, Stephen Curry injured his left shoulder during their game against the Indiana Pacers last week. Following that injury, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Dubs guard would be missing out on the next 10-12 games. However, a few days ago, the four-time NBA champion himself broke the silence regarding his injury. He gave some news that would make probably make the fans happy.

Curry injured his left shoulder when he went toward the basket looking for a steal. At the same time the Pacers rookie, Jalen Smith also approached the basket. Following that injury, he was suspected to miss out 3-4 weeks, according to reports. However, with his recent revelation, the fans could expect something that would make probably make them happy.

Stephen Curry expressed relief regarding his shoulder injury

Curry addressed the media and opened up regarding his injury for the first time last Friday. In the video, the fans could see the 34-year-old sharing his happiness regarding the non-requirement of surgery for his shoulder injury.

Amidst the interview, Curry said, “Surgery would’ve been 4-6 months. Nobody was trying to deal with that right now.” Moreover, added that the idea of having surgery was ruled out after having the MRI.

Apart from that, the four-time NBA champion also replied to a question asked by the reporter whether he could be considering having surgery the next season. He said, “Not right now. (The shoulder) will let me know if it’s necessary or not (after returning).”

Therefore, Curry’s statements implied that he would be postponing the surgery for now and would think later if he really needs the surgery. Apart from that, his press meeting also cleared all the speculations regarding him.
