‘Pseudo-Sixer Fan’: Stephen Curry Roots for 76ers Against Brooklyn Nets for Eastern Conference Champions

As the playoffs are well underway, the Utah Jazz and Philadelphia 76rs have kept their identity as the top teams in the NBA. Both the teams finished first in their respective conferences this regular season. Moreover, these two teams are poised by fans and pundits alike to reach the finals. Meanwhile, Stephen Curry did not make a playoff appearance this season as the Lakers knocked the Warriors out in the play-in tournament. However, Curry spoke about how he is rooting for his brother this time around.

The Philadelphia 76ers have performed well this season, and Seth Curry has been instrumental to their success.

While the Warriors got knocked out in the first round, Steph Curry’s performance has been incredible this season. However, he couldn’t get past the Los Angeles Lakers. But the 76ers have taken a 2-0 lead in their series against the Hawks. In the meantime, Curry is hoping that his brother will win the NBA title, and be the finals MVP.

“I’m a pseudo-Sixer fan now. We’re going storybook,” said Curry.

Curry spoke about cheering up Seth Curry as he wants him to win that NBA title. Even though Curry has won three NBA titles, Seth has never won a championship. Steph shared an interesting video of him cheering for his brother with his son, Canon.

Curry and the 76ers will look to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals as they lead the series 2-1 to the Atlanta Hawks.

Even though Jordan Embiid is their key player, Seth Curry certainly is their go-to scorer. Curry averages 18 points per game while she shoots 60 percent beyond the arc. The deep threes have been reminiscent of his brother while Seth continues to impress the fans. The Philadelphia 76ers will hope to advance past the Hawks and be in contention for the title.

Curry’s shooting has exceptional in this series. As Ben Simmons cannot rack up points, Seth Curry has been their secondary scoring outlet.

The Philadelphia 76ers are hoping to win their first title since 1983. Joel Embiid has performed remarkably well this season as he continues to showcase his talents on the court. But if the 76ers are to advance to the next round, then Seth Curry will be key to their performances as the favorites to meet them will be the Brooklyn Nets.
