2022 was definitely a memorable year for Stephen Curry. Though he might have been struggling a bit this ongoing season with the Golden State Warriors, it doesn’t write off the glories he achieved the last season. From winning the 2022 NBA Finals to getting a college degree after almost 13 years, the Dubs guard successfully ticked off more checkpoints on his bucket list.

In addition to that, the Finals MVP acted as a cherry on top. This beautiful golden trophy commemorating Bill Russell was probably the only thing missing from his bucket. However, after winning that, the Dubs guard uttered two words that even left his wife, Ayesha Curry, shocked.

Stephen Curry is arguably one of the best players currently playing the game. With his gameplay, Curry has made sure that his name will remain etched in people’s minds for a long time.

Besides that, his performance in the 2022 NBA Finals definitely cleared any doubts that might have persisted among the fans. Though the path was not easy, the Dubs guard had the last laugh.

Ayesha Curry got shocked by two words from Stephen Curry:

During the 2022 NBA Finals, Curry was not up to his standards in the first three games. However, as soon as the Boston Celtics took the lead of 2-1 in the third game, Curry already made up his mind. He probably understood he would have wrapped up the finals, hence he expressed his desire to celebrate in Boston to his childhood friend.

Thereafter, it was history with the Dubs guard winning his fourth championship in a span of seven years. Moreover, he won his first Finals MVP and called it his ‘greatest moment’. However, these two words shocked his wife and made her say, “Really—he said that?”

This string of words from Ayesha implied she couldn’t believe his husband was bragging about winning the Finals MVP. Her words made it look like she got a bit surprised, as this humble brag probably didn’t go with his character. On the other hand, the Dubs guard might have just uttered those words out of pure happiness. However, leaving those things aside, Ayesha did appreciate Curry for his achievement and showered her love on him.
