Former Lakers draft pick Julius Randle is under the radar right now. The rumors around Julius have picked a lot of attention. Julius, who won the most improved player (MIP) last season, might be on his way out of the New York Knicks.

Julius Randle was the 7th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. Having played for the LA Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans, Julius had his most noteworthy season with the Knicks. In his 7 years, he had not impressed many until he won the MIP in the 2020-21 season, along with an All-Star and All NBA inclusion.

Averaging 24.1 points per game, Julius Randle turned heads with his 2020-21 season. But the way things stand, he looks to wish for a move out of the Knicks.

According to Marc Berman of the New York Post and multiple other sources, it seems like Randle will not be playing for the Knicks next season. Julius’ move out of the Knicks looks imminent and he himself might be the sole reason for this.

Reportedly Julius Randle has picked up the ‘James Harden way’. It is a known fact that James Harden has been a big influence in his trades from the Rockets to the Nets and this year from the Nets to 76ers.

According to reports, Harden’s antics included being dejected from the squad, coming late to practices, and overall showing an attitude that proved that he no longer had the desire to play for the franchise. There was no other option other than trading out James Harden both times. James Harden is a high-profile player, and he did what he had to, to get his desired move.

Harden has immense quality and has proved that in every team. Many have criticized Harden for his antics and behaviors leading up to his trades, but in retrospect, one can not blame him for what he thinks is best for his career. Same with Julius Randle.

If Randle thinks a move-out is the best way forward for him, one can not stop him from doing what he can to make that happen. Having said that, not being fair, true, dedicated, and loyal to one’s team is what bothers the fans. The opinion can go to and fro. But as it seems, only Julius Randle and the Knicks will determine what is going to happen next.
