Dallas Mavericks star guard Luka Doncic has achieved high feats early on in his career. Doncic has recently made it to the NBA 2k22 cover, that 2k Sports announced in July. The 22-YO has excited his 2k fans with his blockbuster feature.

The Slovenian basketball star will be on the NBA 2K22 standard edition and cross-gen covers. This is the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition of NBA 2K22. To celebrate this pedestal, the game will also feature Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Durant on their cover.

Luka Doncic is making a name in the NBA in no time

On being announced the cover athlete for NBA 2k22, Doncic told, “I’m proud to represent my country in a special cover that honors the colors of the Slovenian flag.”

The NBA 2k22 says Luka Doncic will be gracing the 2k edition in order to ‘inspire more international basketball players to pursue their goals’. NBA 2k22 is also partnering with Doncic to build up the young icon’s childhood court.

WNBA superstar Candace Parker will grace the NBA 2k22 cover

Doncic is on an illustrious path to becoming one of the greatest players of all time. Drafted in 2018, he’s a 2-time NBA All-star. Additionally, he was inducted into the All-NBA First team two years in a row (2020, 2021). Now he’s making his appearance as an NBA 2k cover athlete.

It’s the WNBA 25th Anniversary Special Edition this year that will be available only in the USA and Canada. Chicago Sky star notable forward Candace Parker will be on the cover.

The 2k community is looking forward to this year’s edition and the hype is growing with Luka Doncic and Candace Parker on the front.
