Shaquille O’Neal and Kevin Durant Roast NBA All Star Dunk Contest After Horrific Display That Left Fans Disappointed

NBA All-Star weekend is finally in full effect. The celebrity game was exciting and fun to watch. The three-point and slam dunk contests took place earlier today. However, the slam dunk contest was nothing as impressive this season. The slam dunk contest is full of athletic players slamming the rim in various fashions.

However, the dunk contest today was full of missed tries. The players missed way more dunks that they could convert. The contest was for sure entertaining, but it did not match up to the events in the previous years. Many NBA players expressed their displeasure over the current slam dunk contest.

Shaquille O’Neal found the show so boring and lifeless that he took to Instagram to show it. He uploaded a picture of himself dozing off in a pool with the caption “wish I was here rather than that dunk contest.” Shaq has been in the league since the 1980s, therefore he has seen the best of the best of slam dunk contests. However, he was surely not impressed after this contest.

Kevin Durant is known for his slashing dunking ability. He too expressed his displeasure with the slam dunk contest t0day. He felt that the dunk contest was maybe not as extravagant as it usually was. Kevin Durant, too, has seen many legendary slam dunk contests unfold in front of him. This contest did not possess the starlight factor.

The main bad part about this contest was the number of misses. All the players missed most of their dunks. This slam dunk contest will probably go down in history for having the most amount of missed dunks.

Obi Toppin was the most consistent performer today. He achieved high scores on all the rounds. This resulted in a victorious lead for him. Juan-Toscano Anderson put up a good show for the first two rounds, however, he went 0-3 in the third round. His vision for the dunk was not executed properly. However, he reached the final stage of the contest, which was good for him.

Jalen Green had a disappointing run in the contest. He was the fan-favorite to win the contest before it started. However, he was surprisingly knocked out after the first round. Jalen got the lowest score in the first round. His performance was characterized by a number of misses and non-attempts.

Cole Anthony showed up with good showmanship. However, he seemed to have injured his thumb after the first round, which cost him the contest. All in all, not one of the most entertaining dunk contests.
