Animals play an important role in our ecosystem, which is why shark fanatics celebrate this animal they call the ocean’s most ferocious apex predator. And celebrities such as Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Phelps, Will Smith, Ciara, and others are willing to put their lives on the line for an unforgettable underwater experience alongside sharks.

The Shark-Week show has always been a fan-favorite. While it has been shown in movies through the years that these animals eat human flesh. There have also been some statements about their diet from some professionals.

In recent weeks, news has been spreading about the celebrities who are making the rounds on social media. “Your toaster is more likely to kill you than a shark,” according to Culum Brown, a fish biologist at Macquarie University.

“It is extremely unlikely that you will ever be, or even know, a shark attack victim,” said Culum. The government is doing everything in its power to protect these animals. As these contribute significantly to maintaining a healthier ecosystem.

As a result, celebrities are taking part in this. It’s part of recognizing how important it is to conserve these animals’ habitats and to understand how important the creatures’ contributions are to the ecosystem. However, they will also be experiencing a journey that is exciting and dangerous at the same time.

As part of Discovery’s Shark Week of the year, several celebrities we have seen taking part in this experience of swimming with the big fishes. The list includes names such as O’Neal, Tiffany Haddish, Rihanna, JB Smoove, Brad Paisley, Chris Hemsworth, Will Smith, Zac Efron, and many more.
