Shocked Stephen Curry Advises Will Smith to Learn From Denzel Washington Amid Raging Controversy

Every year when the Oscars happen, there are certain moments from the show that shock everyone. This time was no different, as an infamous moment happened that surprised everyone watching. Sunday night at the Oscars, Will Smith went on stage and slapped Chris Rock in the face.
Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, was the subject of a joke made by the comedian. After that, a number of people came forward to give Smith advice on the act that he did on stage. One of those people was Warriors star, Stephen Curry.
As Rock presented the award for the best documentary and made a few jokes during the presentation. He made a joke regarding Pinkett Smith’s hairstyle and compared her to “G.I. Jane”.

While Will seemed to be awkwardly laughing at the joke at first, her wife did not seem amused. Afterward, Smith came on stage and gave slapped Rock before returning to his seat. The King Richard actor shouted, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth.'”
From the outside, it looked like a planned scene at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Later on, however, it appeared that it was no joke and that Will had actually hit Chris Rock.
Rock said after a moment of silence, “Will Smith just smacked the sh*t out of me,”. He explained his joke further by saying, “Wow, dude,” replied Rock. “It was a G.I. Jane joke.”
The incident that occurred is going to make this Oscar ceremony a memorable one. Not because of the awards, but because of the incident that happened.

Curry responded to the Oscars ceremonies via Twitter, mentioning the incident that occurred and how it may lead to many other things that could get worse. As he wrote:
“Like everybody…I’m still in shock about the whole thing- but in all the unnecessary drama, at least we got the line of the night from Denzel…”In your highest moments, be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you!”

Even in the ceremony, Denzel came on to tell Smith that he had to be very careful in handling the situation.
