The Los Angeles Clippers not only faced a tough scenario in their game against the Nuggets but also during the flight travel to Colorado. Considering the details of the incident, a minute mistake from the flight crew could have ended up as a nightmare.

The Clippers were on a flight to Colorado to face the Denver Nuggets on February 25 when the incident took place. A report shared the terrible experience faced by the Clippers and the aftermath which has taken the NBA world by surprise.

The Clippers went through a terrifying ordeal

It was a hard flight for the Clippers to be on. After their tough overtime loss to the Sacramento Kings by one point, the team took a flight to Colorado on February 25 to face West leaders Denver Nuggets. However, their loss to the Denver Nuggets might not be the worst thing for the players. The Delta Airlines plane in which the team traveled faced several disturbances on its way to Colorado.

A report revealed, “The plane dropped in altitude several times and shrieks could be heard from passengers in what some staffers called one of the worst moments they’ve experienced on a flight” showing the life-threatening incident faced by the team. The report further added, “Shortly after the Clippers landed safely in Colorado, the team saw a mark that took some of the paint off the tail of the Delta Air Lines plane”.?
