The NBA world is about to shake to its core. The Golden State Warriors are coming in hot in the month of January. Not only are they one of the top teams but they are about to get a lot better. Notably, sharpshooter Klay Thompson is about to make his return this month. He took to Instagram to announce his return back on the court.

Since the last few months, Klay has made headlines many times. He is constantly the talk with his practice videos and getting back into game shape. With each video looking more and more promising, the time is almost here now. The Warriors had earlier estimated that the superstar will be back in January 2022. Now, it seems the day isn’t far off.

Klay Thompson makes return announcement on his boat

One of the most classic Klay moves. the star took out his infamous boar into the Bay waters and started off an Instagram live. There he gave the fans a tease, as the star said he will be back really soon. Thompson has looked really promising in practice as he recently nailed 24 straight threes while gearing up.

While on the live, Klay Thompson said: “I’ll be back soon people. I’ll be back soon. It’s been a long journey. Guess what, smooth waters never made a skilled sailor. So, I’ll be back soon.”

There’s optimism Golden Warriors guard Klay Thompson will make his return vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, sources tell ESPN. A final decision is expected once the Warriors return from a two-game trip on Friday.

While the star did not clarify when he will lace his boots, the Warriors do have an expected time. According to the reports, the Golden State Warriors expect Klay to be back on the court in their matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on the 9th of January. Their schedule is quite tight as they play three games before the Cavs. However, a return of Klay will be monumental for the NBA world.
