The Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers locked horns last night and the Warriors rising star, Jonathan Kuminga seemingly knew how to electrify the crowd at Chase Center in the absence of Stephen Curry. The now 20-year-old energized the whole arena with his vicious dunk and played an important role in the Warriors’ 123-105 win over the Trail Blazers. This brutal yet beautiful dunk, in turn, prompted Curry to reflect with a ‘Kevin Hart’ meme on his different social media handles.

In response to the Baby-Faced Assassin’s post, fans took to social media and filled the comment sections with their opinions. Interestingly, his post even elicited reactions from King Bach, a former Warriors player, Zaza Pachulia, and Kuminga himself.

Stephen Curry used a ‘Kevin Hart’ meme to react to Jonathan Kuminga’s vicious dunk

Down 23 points in the second quarter, the Warriors made a strong surge in the third quarter and Kuminga finished the comeback by making a jaw-dropping dunk over multiple Toronto Raptors defenders. It appeared that the Warriors forward leaped quite a few feet forward to put that ball into the basket.

In light of this, Curry reacted to his fellow teammate’s beautiful yet vicious dunk by using a ‘Kevin Hart’ meme. It seemed the four-time champion jumped on the recent trend wagon. Incidentally, the internet has been buzzing with different ‘Kevin Hart’ memes lately without any particular reason. Even the comedian recently admitted on his Instagram page that he has no idea why he is trending.

Kuminga’s dunk might not have been close to Michael Jordan’s 1987 Slam Dunk contest dunk, but it was surely one of the best dunks of recent times. The Warriors forward wrapped up his game with 16 points, three rebounds, and one steal.

Stars joined in with fans to reflect on Curry’s post

Curry’s post garnered comments from a few stars and Kuminga himself along with the fans as soon as it was shared. Pachulia wrote, “Reminds me young me(emoji)” Kuminga and King Bach could do nothing but expressed their joy with a series of laughing emojis in the comment section of Instagram.

On the other hand, fans apparently gave mixed reactions on Twitter. Most of them replied to the post with hilarious pictures of Kevin Hart while a few were surprised after acknowledging that Steph also jumped on the trend wagon.
