“That Ring Last Season Was a Fluke”: NBA Fans Slam the Warriors as They “Choke” in the Final Seconds During Loss vs Jazz

The Golden State Warriors went to Salt Lake City looking to grab a win against the Utah Jazz after a loss in their previous game against the Indiana Pacers. However, the Warriors lost against the Jazz last night after a blunder by the Warriors in the final seconds. The duo of Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson were unable to hold the game in the absence of their talisman, Stephen Curry.

With this loss against the Jazz, the Californian side garnered plenty of attention from NBA fans.

The Golden State Warriors started the game pretty well by dominating the first quarter. However, they were unable to take a lead in the next two consecutive quarters. Surprisingly, they managed to build in the fourth quarter with a comfortable lead, though that was not enough to make them earn a victory. They went on to lose the game in the final seconds after the ball got stolen away from Jordan Poole, resulting in a 1 point win for the Utah Jazz. Despite being the top scorer with 36 points, Poole was unable to lead his team over the line.

The comments portrayed the negative responses of many fans. Most of them couldn’t even believe how the Warriors blew their lead in the last seconds. They also didn’t hesitate to criticize the defense for “choking” at the last moment. Moreover, others commented that they could feel the absence of Stephen Curry on the court. Overall, the fans were pretty dissatisfied with this performance from the defending NBA champions.
