Meanwhile, Russ’ action caught the attention of NBA fans, making them reflect on the affair on social media. However, surprisingly, the nine-time All-Star didn’t receive any kind of backlash from the fans after the video started circulating on the Internet.

Westbrook is infamous for getting into altercations with fans. Over the years, the former MVP has engaged in a war of words with NBA fans several times. However, on this occasion, the nine-time All-Star chose to not even interact with his little fan.

Russell Westbrook coldly leaves a little kid hanging

In a clip uploaded on Twitter, Westbrook could be seen coldly leaving a little kid hanging on the sidewalk while entering an establishment. In the short clip, Russ could be seen coming out of a car and crossing the street to enter a place. In the meantime, a group of fans, who had been patiently waiting for him on the sidewalk, started calling out his name in excitement for autographs and pictures after seeing him. Among them a little kid was seen pleading to the Lakers guard several times, asking him to sign his jersey. However, surprisingly, the nine-time All-Star completely ignored the kid and proceeded to walk past him.

While Westbrook might have been minding his own business that day, the kid seemed heartbroken.
