Recently, a hilarious video of Anthony Edwards emerged on social media. In it, he can be seen wearing a custom Versace robe. The lavish custom robe has his On-Court name ‘ANTMAN’ written on the back. Edwards seemed to be having a lot of fun in the robe and even compared himself to the boxing great, Muhammad Ali.

Edwards can be heard in the video saying, “I’m wearing this to the game tonight. I’ll be like Muhammad Ali comin’ out.” This was obviously a hilarious comparison to how Muhammad Ali used to come out for fights in a robe. As Anthony Edwards said, showing up at the game in a custom robe would have made him feel like Ali.

How is Anthony Edwards performing this season?
Anthony Edwards built a name for himself as a high-flying slasher with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was a joy to watch in 2020-21, especially because of his excellent dunking ability.

As he began his second season in the league, though, there were concerns about his offensive efficiency. Last season, he had a 32.9 percent 3-point shooting percentage and a 41.7 percent total shooting percentage. The NBA has a long history of inefficient scorers who inflated their stats because they were on terrible teams that needed someone to score.

Edwards, on the other hand, is shooting a little better this season, including from beyond the arc, and keeping the Timberwolves competitive. Edwards hit ten 3-pointers in a game against the Denver Nuggets last month. He has a long way to go to become a top scorer, but at 20 years old, he is definitely one of the league’s brightest prospects.

In addition to that, he has improved his rebounding and passing, which allows him to contribute even when his shots aren‘t landing. Edwards’ improvement will be one of the main reasons Minnesota makes the playoffs, if they do.
