The chances of the Brooklyn Nets winning the NBA title looks believable. While there are many powerful teams in the NBA, the Nets have Kevin Durant, who is in the form of his life.

Ever since Durant got traded to the Brooklyn-based franchise, their odds of winning the championship have improved significantly. With Kyrie Irving and James Harden, the onus is on the Nets to win the grand prize. Despite Harden being injured, the Nets are a solid side with KD on their team. Irwing has put up some good numbers on the board but Durant’s offensive skill-set is a treat to watch.

The Nets are 2-0 up against the Milwaukee Bucks as KD and co will look to sweep them away.

Kevin Durant on a roll

The Bucks made a quick job of the Celtics while they are being handed the same treatment by Brooklyn. Notably, Durant’s performances on the court are outrageous. An interesting stat line that has come up is how KD is accurate from behind the three-point line.

The basic perimeter defense states how a player should be in the face of their opponent. This statistic pretty much tears up those notes. Having a 50 percent three-point shooting is remarkable. But shooting 50 percent while being guarded, is legendary. Durant has been unstoppable beyond the arc as the Nets have been steamrolling the Bucks. Despite his career-threatening Achilles injury, KD has come back stronger.

Even though Steve Nash has not won an NBA title, there are chances for him to lift the championship this time around. The ability of Kyrie and the resurgence of Blake Griffin have contributed to the team’s exciting run. Despite putting up outstanding performances, the Nets have also focused on the aesthetic side of the game. Steve Nash’s blueprint is being imparted on the team.

The sheer beauty in which they finished the move was quite mesmerizing. In spite of all that, Kevin Durant’s numbers are nothing short of sensational. He averages 32 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game. He also shoots in the 50/40/90 club with percentages of 56.9/50/91.1 as he is the Brooklyn steamer right now.

Time will tell whether Durant can conjure up something big for this franchise. Nets have been unsuccessful since the Jason Kidd era, and they hope to change those fortunes. With Kevin Durant at the helm, anything is possible for this franchise.
