The Sunday morning of January 26th, 2020, will always be an emotional memory for the sporting world. That day, the NBA lost its gem in Kobe Bryant. And for Kobe’s widow, Vanessa, she lost her universe in the demise of her husband and daughter. But as per a latest update, her miseries went beyond that tragic incident.
Recently, Vanessa filed a lawsuit against LA County and some of its employees/agencies for infringement of faith. In her deposition, she gave some unknown insights on the misdoings that had further aggravated her pain.

Vanessa Bryant’s claims against an LA sheriff
The accident outside LA on that unfortunate morning killed nine individuals. After learning about the crash, Vanessa Bryant pleaded with the LA County Sheriff to ensure that no pictures were taken on the crash site. However, her request allegedly fell on deaf ears and the photographs leaked.
Notably, Vanessa had made her plea towards Sheriff Alex Villanueva after the latter had asked if he could help her with anything. But somehow, as per the lawsuit, the sheriff’s deputies, firefighters on the site, and several others made the pictures public.

So just as the 39-YO expressed in her videoconferencing with the defending lawyer, “I said: ‘If you can’t bring my husband and baby back, please make sure that no one takes photographs of them. Please secure the area. And he said: ‘I will.’ And I said: ‘No, I need you to get on the phone right now and I need you to make sure you secure the area.’”
Vanessa Bryant said she was reassured by LA County sheriff Alex Villanueva that the crash site would be secured from any photos — something that didn't happen.

This denial to a very sincere request led to Vanessa going through emotional distress.

What happened on the morning of the death of Kobe Bryant?
It was around 11:30 am in the morning, when Vanessa got the tragic news of the accident from a family assistant. However, by then, it wasn’t clear whether Kobe/Gianna Bryant were injured or not. But just as Vanessa picked her phone to call her husband, the notifications made the sad discovery for her.
Then, she rushed to the airport to catch a helicopter and reach the crash site. But that got denied because of poor weather conditions that day. She certainly was helpless and then the pictures from the crash further worsened her agony.
