However, over time, the issues seemingly got solved and the Warriors’ performances in recent games are proof of that.

The Warriors recently defeated the Chicago Bulls 119-111 after losing their previous game against the Dallas Mavericks by a thin margin. Jordan Poole was the highest scorer on the night, along with receiving a technical foul for a celebration that drew the ire of the fans who called out the referees for their actions.

Fans share their thoughts on the NBA refs

During the game, Poole received a technical foul in the fourth quarter after celebrating Klay Thompson’s three-point shot. But even Poole looked surprised and was unable to understand the reason behind the call. The calls resembled similar fouls given to Stephen Curry and Draymond Green a couple of games ago. Curry and Green were also surprised like Poole when they received those techs.

Meanwhile, the video of Poole receiving the foul for celebrating garnered quite a bit of attention from the fans online.

Most of the fans viewed the calls by the referees rather negatively. One fan said, “This is ridiculous”, while another fan called for the refs to “chill”. Following the win for the Warriors, the defending champions are now 12-11 for the season so far while the Chicago Bulls have a 9-13 record.
