The Brooklyn Nets, after their loss against the Heat, have shown some promise. Winning four consecutive games to stand at a decent 6-3 record, the Nets are showing early signs of a table topping team. However, that can only happen if James Harden can pull himself together. 

In the Nets’ most recent win, they defeated the miserable Pistons 96-90 in an easy outing. But in that win, there came a moment that raised some eyebrows and sinked some hearts. It had an ‘Abnormal Harden’ written all over it.

When James Harden found himself ‘lost’ 

The Brooklyn Nets scored 39 points in the first half and then 39 points in the third quarter alone. Those 12 minutes changed the game and took everything away from the Pistons’ reach. However, James Harden losing a ball in the Q3 made it appear as if the Nets would soon lose him to the bench.

With the Nets leading 67-55, The Beard had the ball against Pistons forward Saddiq Bey. But something went wrong and the 9x All-Star lost both the ball and the knack to sprint and catch it. He left it on Saddiq to grab the possession and pull an uncontested dunk as Kevin Durant watched helplessly.

The changes in the rules, Harden’s offensive production is at a decade-low and that’s quite concerning. So this night against the Pistons should help him get his acts together and deliver even better results on more important nights.
