From NBA champion to Dancing champion
Shumpert put the entire sports world on notice as he won season 30 of ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ The NBA star worked hard on his dance journey with choreographer Daniella Karagach.

However, his win was not an easy one as he came up against big names. Notably, the runner-up was JoJo Siwa who has a big social media following on her side. Other participants included names like Amanda Kloots and Cody Rigsby. Hence, his competition was not easy to tackle. But the NBA star broke all odds and won the Mirror Ball trophy.
However, his flawless dance skills and NBA fan following ensured his victory. He is the first NBA player to win the competition so far. Players such as Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Clyde Drexler, and World Metta Peace have all competed in the competition but failed to win. Shumpert made history becoming the first one to do so.
