Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics

Prior to the start of the 2017-18 season, a massive trade took place that shook the NBA. Kyrie, who was unhappy in Cleveland, joined the Boston Celtics, while the Cleveland Cavaliers received Isaiah Thomas in return.

It seemed as though Kyrie would lead his team to success by taking the young trio of Tatum, Brown, and Smart under his wing. However, this was not the case.

In the 2 seasons that he played for the Celtics, he gave the crowd in Boston plenty of heroics and flashy moves. But they amounted to nothing. In fact, during his two-year stint, the Celtics would reach the Eastern Conference Finals without Kyrie.
