Trae Young Poses With WWE Legend John Cena to Close Iconic SmackDown Debut

Talking about real-life villains, Trae Young made the audience go bonkers when he played at the MSG in last year’s NBA playoffs. The point guard from Atlanta Hawks put forward an amazing performance against New York Knicks. His performances against the Knicks draw widespread praise, as well as, made him public enemy number one to the Knicks fans. In the meantime, Young appeared on WWE SmackDown to interfere in a match and posed for a photo with WWE legend, John Cena.

After the show, Young posed with WWE superstar John Cena in an iconic photo at the recent show of SmackDown Live. Moreover, Young appeared on it too. The point guard came out in front of an animated crowd who showered him with boos. Likewise, the show was live in Madison Square Garden which led to the boos from the New York crowd.

However, the photo with John Cena produced a moving moment for Young. WWE markets itself with drama and his appearance on the show elevated the TV ratings for the company. John Cena, recently, made his return and went on with a match against Roman Reigns in SummerSlam. Even though, the superstar looked to break Ric Flair’s record, Reigns overpowered him in an epic fashion.

When Rey Mysterio was caught in between the ropes, Young pulled him down and interfered in the match. After the referee spotted the offense, he sent him back to the locker room to the delight of fans in attendance. Young played his part well with a pinch of dramatization on his face.

The ability of the Hawks star is incredible; both on and off the court. The ability to captivate the imagination of the audience with his personality makes him a top prospect. The fans can expect more appearances from Trae in WWE.
