LeBron James‘ son Bronny James was in a good form recently as he helped his high school team, Sierra Canyon to reach the semi-finals of the Les Schwab invitational tournament. However, he and his team couldn’t continue their run and lost against West Linn (Oregon). Though he lost the game, King James could do nothing but congratulate his son due to a specific reason.

There were many instances recently when the 38-year-old could do nothing but praise his son for his magnificent performances as Bronny slowly but surely makes his way toward the NBA. Similarly, this time also he didn’t hold back in praising his eldest son.

The Les Schwab tournament allowed fans a chance to catch glimpses of the Los Angeles Lakers icon through the gameplay of his son. There were several instances when the 18-year-old prodigy showed why many believe that he will be the successor of his father in the league one day. Bronny was selected in the All-Tournament team, leading to his father’s praise and support.

LeBron James congratulates Bronny

In light of this, the 18-time All-Star congratulated Bronny on his Instagram handle. He shared a photo of his son holding an award besides a few people in one his Instagram story. The four-time champion shared the photo with a caption, “Congrats son on making All-Tournament team at the Les Schwab Invitational in Oregon. Proud of you kid @bronny.”

The semi-final round between Sierra Canyon and West Linn was hosted at Liberty High School in Oregon. The game ended in favor of West Linn with a score of 86-69.

Bronny is one of the NBA prospects that might enter the league soon. The 18-year-old is currently in his senior year at Sierra Canyon. Therefore, he would be able to enter the 2024 NBA draft if everything goes accordingly. And if he makes the debut within a couple of years, then his father’s dream of sharing the court with his son would also be fulfilled.
