Whether it be the Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls cohort Scottie Pippen duo or a certain Los Angeles Lakers pair. So, to make a song honoring Kobe Bryant and partner-in-crime Shaquille O’Neal needs an all-time great music pairing as well. As a result, a legendary hip-hop duo is making a comeback.

However, with prior hostilities involving Vanessa Bryant, can the two deliver? They certainly think so, even offering an early leak by way of bait.

A year after Kobe Bryant‘s untimely demise, his name was up in a particular controversy.

A leak from Mill’s album with Lil Baby had a particular lyric that the Mambacita took offense to. “And if I ever lack I’m going out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.”

Clearly not the best idea at a tribute, Vanessa was immediately in her displeasure of the matter. However, it seems like the two are on better terms now with Shaq even endorsing the album. Due to the duo’s claim of the Lakers pair being like “father figures”, optimism is high for their collaboration.
