However, front and center on the table was the newest bottle of Tequila from Jordan’s own brand, Cincoro. The luxury bottle line was the genesis of an idea between 5 NBA owners. Chief among them was famous Tequila-lover Jordan.

The newest bottle Cincoro Gold is an amalgamation of all their previous flavors. While the brand focuses on spreading throughout the US, a name as famous as Michael carrying it around Europe will surely help boost its popularity. After all, he was the key factor in the brand’s existence.

The idea first came to be after a meeting of minds in 2017. Jeanie Buss from the Los Angeles Lakers, along with Wes Edens of the Milwaukee Bucks, and Wyc Grousbeck and Emilia Fazzalari of the Boston Celtics met with the Chicago Bulls legend and the fivesome discovered their shared love for the liquor.

Soon enough, an idea was in place and the group worked towards making their dream a reality. Finally, 2019 saw the official release of the brand. Since then, Cincoro has sold over 1.5 million bottles and has been etched into the top 20 tequila brands.

While the investment starts to pay dividends, the quarter has explained how important Jordan was to the entire process. According to them, he taught the group the proper ways of drinking tequila. Further, he was instrumental in finalizing the flavor of the drink.
