What would it look like if the modern superstars teamed up with legends like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, etc.? Well, social media has always shared some interesting teams that have caught the fans’ attention. One such was the sports media house, ‘Hoop Central‘s trio matchups, which involves three teams with a combination of one former superstar and two modern superstars. ‘Team Red’ with Michael Jordan, Joel Embiid and James Harden, ‘Team Yellow’ with Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry and LeBron James, and ‘Team Green’ with Larry Bird, Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

While fans were invested in debating as to which team looks better, former Chicago Bulls star Jalen Rose chimed in to disrespect the former Sixers duo. Bringing the championship into the table, Rose took a jab at Embiid and Harden. He shared on Twitter, “Lame that MJ got the teammates w/o chips.” It’s interesting to see that Rose chose to ignore Tatum, who also doesn’t have a ring yet.

Surprisingly, a few fans have agreed with Rose as they have already started to replace the former Sixers duo with their other favorite players. Also, keep in mind that this is not the first time Rose has called out Harden and Embiid.
Jalen Rose mocked Embiid’s flopping and Harden’s poor playoff performance
Embiid had a lot of injury trouble in his initial years, which he was often mocked for. Moreover, his offensive bag involves instances of flopping. Rose has called Embiid out for both. Embiid revealed to the media that his body conditioning was at 69% and Rose criticized him for it. Rose also believes the Cameroonian center is the only player in the NBA who can get away with flopping and trash-talking. This was five years ago and things are the same even now.

After the Sixers lost to the Celtics in the Conference semi-finals last year, Rose said Harden pulled a “disappearing act”. Harden secured the win for the Sixers in the first two games and did not perform in the rest four. Well, at this point it looks like he could have something personal with the two superstars. Although the two do not have a ring until now, each of them has an MVP award and a great playoff resume which can be considered.
