Another day, another detractor. While the Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen relationship continues to soar, the haters are aplenty. But, for what seems like forever, former NBA star Jalen Rose was the one to go against the couple. And while most famous for going up against Kobe Bryant in his 81-point masterclass, his fandom for Michael Jordan and connection to the Chicago Bulls is well-documented. However, it was the Robin to Jordan’s Batman that he was fighting for.

Reposting a clip on X, Jalen Rose gave his insight into the crumbling of the Scottie Pippen – Michael relationship. “Everyone thinks that Scottie’s so upset about Michael Jordan and what happened with him and the Bulls. But now, I think there might be more to that.” 

An old clip, the video first came out when the two lovebirds’ story was initially making the rounds. “Because there are rumors and now there are pictures that she is now, I’ll say hanging out with Michael Jordan‘s son, Marcus. And you don’t need me to explain the history between Scottie and Michael. We all saw the Last Dance.” 

According to Rose, the entire situation was unimaginable to him. “Certain relationships used to be off-limits. I, on paper, want everybody to be happy and to live their best life. But, the best thing I can say for her is, she should see him as more of a nephew than a mate.” 

While not the first one to take a shot at the two, Jalen might be one of the most high-profile names to directly call them out. But, with his former ties to ESPN, it continues the trend of the company’s employees targeting Larsa and Marcus in particular.

Stephen A. Smith Took Shots at Larsa Pippen and Michael Jordan’s Son

While he hasn’t been shy of calling out Scottie Pippen, Stephen A. Smith also doesn’t take after Larsa and her burgeoning relationship with the younger son of Jordan. However, he has made it clear that he doesn’t have a preference for either of the legend’s sides. Instead, his opinion comes from what he feels about the two exclusively.

Whenever the topic comes up, Smith is especially angry at Larsa. Even though he has taken the high road with Marcus from time to time, Stephen A doesn’t offer the ex-wife of Scottie the same courtesy. It got so bad that the duo had to offer rebuttals during the Separation Anxiety podcast.

Will the Jalen Rose comments reignite Stephen’s fury? Only time will tell.
