Larsa and Marcus act as co-hosts on their podcast Separation Anxiety. Other than being a place to discuss various topics, the podcast also acts as a way for the couple to keep their fans updated about their relationship. During an episode, the couple dove into the topic of Hollywood breakups. Special emphasis was placed on actress Kyle Richards and her husband Mauricio Umansky. The duo split after 27 years of marriage.

Marcus found out that even though the couple have separated for a while now, they still live under the same roof. When he asked Larsa if she could imagine being in such a situation, the 49-year-old replied that she actually had been in such a situation.

“It was horrible,” said Larsa when describing the situation.

According to Larsa, the legal team handling the separation asked her to stay at home to avoid any rumors. She claims that “it’s kind of dangerous to be in the same home” because one tries to move forward, date other people, etc.

Bringing the point forward, Larsa claims that the legal system needs to “change that up a bit.”

Larsa did not name the individual with whom she had to face the situation. It isn’t hard, however, for listeners to connect two and two together. To know that the person whom she was talking about was her ex-husband and six-time NBA champion, Scottie Pippen.

Larsa made two 911 calls against Scottie after separation

Scottie Pippen not only happens to be Larsa’s ex-husband, but he is also the former teammate of Michael Jordan. The duo won six rings together on the Chicago Bulls. After being together for 24 years and having four children, the couple officially filed for divorce in 2016.

‘People Magazine’ reported that Larsa made two 911 calls in the aftermath of the separation. When police responded to the first call, they saw Larsa sitting in a car. Larsa assured the police that the fight between her and Scottie, while “heated”, never turned physical.

The second call, made three days later, showed Larsa claiming that her husband has “gotten crazy again” and is breaking things.

This answers why the 49-year-old TV personality was of the opinion that separated couples should not stay together.
