After winning their 18th title, the Celtics are working harder than ever. The team still has a lot to prove. And if you ask Jaylen Brown, he’s doing everything unimaginable to elevate his game. Few months ago, a photo of him holding a dumbbell in one hand and a basketball in the other went viral. The biggest Celtics supporter, legends as well as fan also showered the 2024 Finals MVP with praise for his relentless efforts. He did it again when Brown called him out with a special tribute.

The 2016 NBA Draft recently gifted one of the coolest sneakers from his brand to Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce on KG Certified. “Huge respect to Jaylen Brown for betting on himself 🫡” All the Smoke post was captioned.

Their reaction was both supportive and praiseworthy. Sharing the response on X, Brown expressed his gratitude for the wholesome support. “I love how KG and Paul constantly give flowers to the next generation this what real vets look like I can’t wait to do the same,” Brown wrote.

In response, Garnett wrote, “Each one teach one.” And not just Brown, the Celtics legend appreciates every deserving young generation player. Garnett often shares motivating words for Victor Wembanyama too. After Watching Brown’s underwater stunt, Garnett wrote, “Lord… @FCHWPO is under water with a dumbbell in one hand and a basketball in the other…. 🤣🤣🤣.”

The former Celtics player had been following Brown’s venture right from the beginning.

“Congrats J B… @fchwpo. This is one greatest thing ever,” Garnett wrote on his IG when the announcement was made. With Celtics star Brown making a bold and unique move in business, the Boston Celtics legend is proud of him.

Breaking away from the norm, Brown launched his own brand, 741, the number 7, 4. 1 deeply meaningful to him, as he believes it has appeared throughout his life. Along with the brand launch, he also introduced his signature shoe, Rover.

The pair that Garnett and Paul Pierce were holding appeared to be The Future of Performance. However, questions arose about whether this venture would succeed. Some pointed to LaVar Ball’s Big Baller Brand experiment, which didn’t pan out as expected.

Yet, Garnett was among the few who showed unwavering support for Brown. “I think it’s genius. No one has attempted to even try what he’s doing. The Baller boys was not on this level, that’s what I’m saying. Salute to the Ball brothers, they did their thing. Salute, real sh**. But to have an All-Star, a champion, at the Apex of his career, we’ve never seen someone do this,” Garnett said. These small tokens of appreciation from legends of the game surely mean a lot to a player.
