The NBA All-Star game has always been a night for the league’s brightest stars to shine. For years, Michael Jordan’s All-Star achievements stood as legendary feats. However, LeBron James is often considered Jordan’s greatest rival. He has written his name in the history books by beating one of Jordan’s most difficult records.

Michael Jordan, during the 1997 All-Star game, achieved the record for the first-ever triple-double in NBA All-Stars Games. He scored 14 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in the game. He has made 16 Appearances in the All-Stars game where he has played 15 of them and did not play due to his injury in the 1985-86 Season.

During the 2011 All-Star game, James put on a record-breaking performance, making a remarkable triple-double with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. This achievement became only the second triple-double recorded in All-Star game history, following Jordan’s impressive performance in 1997. But James didn’t stop there. Throughout his career, he has scored 385 points in the All-Star game which helped him surpass Jordan’s record of 262 points in the All-Stars Game. James has made a total of 20 NBA All-Star appearances which is the record for most appearances made in All-Stars Games.
