NBA Trade Deadline Day: Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and More Set to Spice Up Crucial Day for Lakers, Other Contenders
The Valentine’s season is one for love. However, this year, it is perfectly set up to whet the appetite for everyone’s love for sports. Between the Super Bowl, the All-Star weekend, and the NBA trade deadline, the week promises to be a jam-packed one. While the former 2 focus on games themselves, the latter is all about rumors, drama, and storylines. And, this year, a select crew featuring the legendary Boston Celtics duo of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce is ready to take us all on a joyride.
After conquering the podcasting sphere with The Truth & The Ticket, the 2008 Championship core now has the NBA Trade Deadline in sight. But they aren’t coming alone. With DeMarcus Cousins, Matt Barnes, and Stephen Jackson, they have a ton of “dawgs” along with them.
To conduct proceedings, former ESPN employee Rachel Nichols is also taking center stage. In a joint post by All The Smoke Productions and Cousins, the official tagline was in place. “Avengers assembling for the trade deadline.”

Throughout the season, two names and teams have come up in trade rumors more often than not. Given the advancing age of their superstars, LeBron James and Stephen Curry, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Golden State Warriors are prime contenders on the trade market. Whether it be Zach Lavine or Dejounte Murray, the choices for these teams are aplenty.
Further, the Joel Embiid injury could have the Philadelphia 76ers moving toward a drastic decision. With the Chicago Bulls core offering many enticing pieces for contenders, they could become the central hub of all trade deadline moves.
