NBA players are often natural entertainers. While they are artists on the court, their personalities can translate very well to different settings as well. Look no further than Shaquille O’Neal. Whether it is his natural charisma or hilarious antics, he’s always been a draw in the entertainment industry. As a result, he’s a sought-after personality for podcasts and interviews. One name in particular has been desperate in her plea to get the Los Angeles Lakers legend on her show.

Since the conclusion of the NBA season, the 7-footer has been a busy man. Whether it is a music festival in Texas or becoming a part of Wonderland, his DJ-ing career is taking off. So, getting a hold of the 4-time Champion has been even more difficult than usual.

Speaking about his passion for music and career as a DJ, Shaq was at his impressionable best. After making waves at the Lollapalooza, his attention is solely on his yearly fundraiser. For its third iteration, a host of names are coming into town.
Whether it be host Joel McHale, DJ Pee Wee, country duo Dan & Shay, or superstars like John Legend and Jennifer Hudson, the event promises to be a can’t-miss. However, there is one name in particular that the former Miami Heat champion is most interested in seeing.
While his music career has taken him to many places, including through the doors of the UFC, meeting Jennifer Hudson remains a personal dream for O’Neal. “I love Jennifer Hudson, oh my god, she’s perfect. Voice, attitude, and style. I watch her shows and she’s perfect. So Jennifer Hudson, if you’re out there, Shaq loves you.”
Of course, these comments should come as a happy surprise to Hudson. After all, she’s long been recruiting the big man for an appearance.
Jennifer Hudson wants Shaq on her show
In conversation with the legendary Paula Abdul, Hudson made her intentions clear. Opening the segment, the soon-to-be 42-year-old took her shot at bringing in Shaq. “I’m trying to get Shaq on the show. Shaq, where you at? What I gotta do?”
Even the 61-year-old American Idol host made a plea for JHud, “Shaq, you gotta come on the show.”?Well, it seems like Jennifer’s prayers are finally getting answered. After Shaq’s comments, it seems like it’s a matter of if not when the two team up for an episode of?The Jennifer Hudson Show.?
With two natural entertainers sharing the spotlight, the episode promises to be a legendary one.
