Viewers of the NBA were in for an unpleasant surprise. Despite the constant presence of the most iconic foursome on NBA TV, the crew was completely absent on Tuesday. While Candace Parker and Jamal Crawford have taken over the roles of Kenny “The Jet” Smith and Charles Barkley, Tuesday saw another name drop out. The highlight of the non-Barkley shows, Shaquille O’Neal was also missing from the lineup, which saw Vince Carter take over his chair.

However, the big man had other duties rather than taking a day off. As a result, the Los Angeles Lakers legend found himself in a city he’s quite familiar with – Miami, Florida. But, while there, he did cause quite a stir. As part of the iConnections team, Shaq was one of the attending members alongside names like Eli Manning for their global conference. But, he did not just attend the event as a regular guest. Instead, the 4x NBA Champion reiterated an old dream of his.

To him, the ultimate goal is still to find a place on the ownership table of the NBA. “I would definitely like to…Whatever team is available.” Although, he does have another area of interest now – F1.
