After the conclusion of the draft, most basketball fans shift their attention to the start of the season. However, for scouts and college recruitment programs, the hunt for the next big star is on. As a result, open runs featuring the best young talent in the nation are of prime essence. One such open run, emanating from the Big Apple, has been a roaring success with superstars like Kevin Durant taking in the action. But, the stars of the show have clearly been the young generation of hoopers. Among them, the youngest daughter of Shaquille O’Neal has been making quite an impression.

The youngest daughter of Shaquille O’Neal continues to impress

The Lincoln Center in New York became the sight to check out the upcoming class of potential superstars. Even though open runs for the next generation are a part of the basketball puzzle, organized runs like these make the entire experience seamless.

As a result, Nike took the initiative and the entire endeavor has been a complete success. Even though the star power was at an all-time high, mainstream or basketball, the actual product on the court was stellar too.

While KD, along with Phoenix Suns teammate Devin Booker turned coach for the men’s side, Travis Scott was there to present the victor’s trophy to the women’s side led by Me’arah O’Neal. Taking to Instagram, the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s daughter shared a collection of photos from her experience at the 2-day festival.

As her star continues to shine brighter and her skills become more apparent, it’s only a matter of time before she is among the top college athletes in the country. Which program she chooses to go to, however, is a different question altogether.

In the last few years, peaking with the last season, women’s college basketball has become one of the biggest things in the sport. Due to the electricity and public feud between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, the women’s NCAA Tournament became all anyone could talk about, even surpassing the men’s equivalent. So, Me’arah must be chomping at the bit to join the hottest thing in the sport right now.

However, the path inside remains unclear. While her father Shaq’s alma mater LSU seems like the obvious choice, a recent tease involving Florida could also be a hint of things to come. The latter does seem to have her family’s unanimous approval.

Whichever destination she ultimately decides on will be getting a bonafide star in the making. Finally, an O’Neal will dominate the hardwood again.
