D-Wade constantly and tirelessly works hard to make an impact on society. It’s safe to say that he has been successful in doing so. The Miami Heat legend is also a part of the documentary’s executive producers’ team.
The film shows a heart-to-heart conversation between five fathers of trans children who joined Dennis Shepard, the father of slain gay college student Matthew Shepard, for a weekend fishing trip in rural Oklahoma. Throughout the conversation, the fathers candidly expressed their concerns about their children’s safety and discussed the ways in which they offered support.
