The Brooklyn Nets have the perfect opportunity to end their championship drought next season. They have Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving sharing the court, which means all eyes will be on the Nets.
But how well will this duo pan out? In the 2019-20 NBA season, fans never had a chance to witness their talents. NBA insider Brian Windhorst talked about the Nets as a team in a recent interview.
“I think they are one of the most interesting teams going. Also, we haven’t seen Durant and Kyrie. Now, I have talked to people, who have watched them workout, and they have sent me back blowing reviews. They are like these two are ready to play, but I wanna see it.

“For me, the most interesting team for the next six to months is Brooklyn. What roster they have, how they get together. I mean, that is potentially a potent team with a lot of potholes. I think it’s gonna be a rollercoaster ride with that group.”

On paper, the Nets look amazing, but there are still some things they need to figure out before the season begins. For starters, fans are waiting to get a glimpse of the Durant and Irving duo on the floor.
If they complement each other perfectly, the Nets have a chance to become the team to beat in the East.
