The NBA playoffs will be taking off soon on the 17th of August with two offensive ends clashing in the opener. It’s Denver Nuggets vs Utah Jazz. While Nuggets have closely swept Utah in all three meetings before, it is still going to be an interesting contest.

Well, many say it was a well-calculated move by the Utah Jazz to clinch the sixth spot in the West in order to meet the Nuggets in playoffs. Whichever way this may have happened, it is going to be a well-played banter on the court. The two teams are offensively loaded which makes it such a power event.

Some interesting 1-v-1 contests will be seen in Nuggets vs Jazz

Gobert is one of the top contenders for Defensive Player of the Year this season. If he does win it, he’ll be receiving the award for the third year consecuitively. On the other hand, Jokic is leading the Nugget’s charts with points (9.9), rebounds (9.7), and assists (7.0). That will be an exciting matchup surely.

Another one is Donovan Mitchell vs Jamal Murray since both are quite strong players with the ball.

Even though the record of Nuggets and Utah is 3-0 this season, it doesn’t put Utah to a lower expectation. All three matches were close ones that got lost by Nuggets’ end game tactics.

Denver Nuggets have a tall-built lineup, tallest in the league with a 7’2″ rookie Bol Bol also on their side. Utah will have to be mindful of that. Moreover, Gobert’s defense will hold the key for Utah considering how heavily offensive the two sides are. That could play as a plus point for them in the absence of Bojan Bogdanovic who didn’t make it to the bubble due to undergoing wrist surgery.

The predictions have failed extensively in Orlando with some unexpected results this time. With the playoffs starting, it will be a big night to watch two young lineups lock horns against each other.
